Kenny Lawler, WR, Cal
Armed Forces Bowl
Kenny Lawler caught a good-not-great five passes for an equally good-not-great 75 yards in Cal’s 55-36 win over Air Force. Lawler wasn’t even the most prolific Golden Bear receiver — that distinction belongs to Bryce Treggs, whose 143 yards on just four catches qualifies him for inclusion among the All-Bowl Team omissions.
However, given 60 percent of Lawler’s catches went for touchdowns and thus totaled the point-margin in Cal’s victory, he deserves recognition.

Lawler could easily have scored four touchdowns, had quarterback Jared Goff not missed him on a shot on Cal’s second drive of the game.
